August 8, 2016: Nehao pyoy lau.

I don't think I spelled that subject line right but the pronunciation
means "you are beautiful" in Chinese I think.

Greetings!

First off everything finally worked out with my pump. After a few more
phone calls, a few more mistakes, and a few more days they finally
sent my new pump! P-Diddy Daines named it Tiancum so everyone in my
district every day: "how's Tiancum doing?" So yeah that got all worked
out. I got my new iPad which is really really great. I will send the
old one back, the screen turns on  and the home button works and it
gives me notifications but it won't do ANYTHING. you can see the water
in the screen. I'll send it hopefully this week if not next. But
everything is going really great!

First off, there is a girl named Sadie Hall from the Farmington
oakrdge stake who just came to OHio and she is my great grand baby!!
Not to mention I just got a new grandchild as well. So thanks to my
daughter Sister McMillan my posterity is flourishing.

This week has been really great! We have been setting goals as a
companionship to get more contacts, lessons, and new investigators and
it has been really awesome! We talk to literally everyone we see. We
have been having so many experiences though where we have all these
FLAWLESS contacts, the spirit it so strong, AND THEY STILL DENY IT AND
SAY NO. It's so crazy! But I know that if we continue to talk to
everyone, see them as Christ would, and love them to death that things
will all work out.

We are teaching a girl named Kandyce who is going to be baptized
soon!! She has been in and out of the hospital which is throwing a
wrench in things but please pray for her! We are hoping for her baptism
to be next Tuesday but she needs a lot of prayers!

We also had our 1st and 2nd official lessons with the most adorable
little Asian guy named Dan. He is so cute it kills me. He has only
learned about God from a host family he lived win a few years ago so
he had some questions. In our first lesson he literally says " I think
I am weak. But if I believe in god I think he can make me strong" OH
WHAT? And then we taught the plan of salvation. Being the prideful
fool that I am I just assumed that I could teach a really simple plan
of salvation because hey I HAVE been doing for the last 15 months.
Well I've never taught it to someone who knows literally nothing about
God. So we get in the lesson and I'm like "oh my gosh how do you teach
Adam and Eve??" And my words were a little jumbled and awkward, but
the spirit is the teacher and flawless and makes up for everything so
every time Dan talked I could feel the spirit testifying through him
it was amazing! We asked what is favorite part was and he said "to be
resurrected and be with my family and God in the Celestial Kindgom
forever" he loves learning and he's perfect. But it's hard for him to
wake up early for church so we are still working through that with him
hahahahaha. Prayers please? He was so close this week!

So on OSU there are 6 sets of missionaries and it's kind of cray. But
there is this 12 seater van that use that we all got to take to Chenyus baptism and seriously it was so great!! It's amazing to see and hear
the huge beautiful impact the gospel has on individual lives. Don't
take it for granted, and share it with everyone!
