August 1, 2016

Hi family. Really short on time due to using my companions iPad and
spending like 6 hours figuring how to log in my account. Literally
everything is cray right now. #tooblessedtobestressed

But...... I AM ON OSU CAMPUS IM A COLLEGE STUDENT. I knew I was
getting transferred and I knew I was going to OSU so I had sister
McDonald train me all about it the 3 days leading up to the transfer
call haha. I knew it was coming because literally the only place that
scared the living daylights out of me was OSU. Here I am world.

I am with Sister Alius, and she is so awesome! Its been a really good
time so far. She is from Provo and went to Timpview! So that's cool
you can all be friends.

I'll just tell you a really cool quick story about how all member
missionaries should be. We are talking to this guy on a bench who was
just there for the day, he's 40's and definitely not a student but we
are teaching him anyway because everyone needs the gospel, and then
one of the 3 Nephites comes out of nowhere and sits down and says "hey
sisters" and turns to the guy who is talking and says something along
the lines of "I am actually a member of this church and everything the
sisters are telling you IS going to bring you joy and truth." And then
we just keep going like normal and I totally just treat him like a
member present and ask him how he came to know the Book of Mormon was
true etc. we finish the contact, and the guy stays behind to talk with
him more. So the whole time I'm seriously like oh my gosh I met a
nephite. Here it is, my life is accomplished. But he also looked super
familiar and I realized HE IS A BLONDE HAIR BLUE EYED TAYLOR NEUFFER.
It was crazy. Anyway sister Alius has been here almost 5 months and
has never seen him before. Cool stuff!

It's weird here. Every time you set up a return appointment they try
to turn it into a lunch date, and I've never been invited to so many
parties in my life. BYOB everybody. This place is so apostate.
But here's a nice scripture.... Mormon 8:39:
"Why do ye adorn yourselves with that which hath no life"
There are so many ways that Satan can distract us from real life and
from our true identities. What kind of things do we hold onto that
hath no life? Something to think about. Please don't download Pokemon
go. Please.

I love you!!

Oh and my iPad is straight dead. My pump never came. One day at a time
everybody.
