Week 1

Whats up guys!!!

Ok so Ohio is like the actual best place ever created. Right now I am in the Powell area, which is full of all the rich people, which is good when it comes to the fact that we get awesome dinners every night, but it is really hard to find people to teach because everyone is extremely busy, and extremely content with their lives. Also remember my friend Ellie from college from ohio? I AM IN HER WARD! :D Ohio apparently has a super bad bed bug problem hahaha but luckily we are in Powell, so no bed bugs (yet.) Funny story, the first question sister Bradford asked me when she met me was what my nationality was hahahaha she thought I was Asian. This mission is probably the 2nd highest diabetic concentrated mission ever (next to the scotland/ireland mission) so 3 of the 16 diabetics in our district have diabetes. I am also the 3rd diabetic companion that Sister Bradford has had so she loves diabetes. There's about 5 in our home ward, and 10 missionaries (3 of the missionaries have been to the ER since being here hahaha) But everyone here calls it "the suga" (like sugar) and everyone gets really excited when they see that I have the suga. My companion is probably the best person to ever walk the earth, and we've gotten along super well! She's way cute and nice and likes to get things done so its perfect. Our mission is a bike and car mission, so we do both because we have a car but with limited miles. It's extremely hot and humid here (90 degrees when we were biking the other day) but today it has cooled down to a nice breezy 60 and it feels great! We have had a few lessons with investigators and they are all so amazing. The one that is closest to baptism was excommunicated when she was 16, and now shes 40 something. Her name is Stacy and shes awesome!! Hopefully we'll get a date set soon. A lot of what we do is meet with new members and less actives. We have done a lot of tracting, but it doesn't do much in an area like this. But everything has been super great and I really love it here!

It was so good to hear from you all, especially on the phone! I love you all soooooooooooooooooooooooo much!
~Sister Hill (People keep calling me sister hill and I'm like "weird. thats my mom")
