Hey fam!

Well this week has been super good! To answer some questions.... We live in an apartment complex called Bear Pointe and its a good time. There is just me and Sister Bradford living there, she told me "Sorry its a little small" but its bigger than foxy hall offered for 6 of us, not to mention they have the same amount of bathrooms. Its a good place! The healthy things we are eating are mostly salads. Haha Sister Bradford gets worried for me when I eat reeses puffs, shes really into produce so I've been eating a lot more of that and a lot less of everything else. My blood sugars have been super good actually! Sister Bradford keeps telling me that she forgets I have diabetes because her other diabetic companions had it WAY worse, so I've been pretty lucky! Yeah I wear my sensor most of the time, but I've resorted a little more to testing more because the sensor is a little.... not always accurate. I will talk to the other diabetics when I can, but the office has already called me about which doctor you chose haha but to be honest I don't really know what they want from me.... so you might want to just call them. It'll take at least 4 months to get in once we choose the doctor supposedly.

Our numbers this week haven't been the best in the world but thats ok! The potential investigators we are trying to work with keep telling us they want to be involved, and then end up being pretty flaky so we don't really know what to do about it. This really nice lady and her 2 year old son were really excited about coming to church with us and planning a time to come over, she even texted us asking about the time and address of the church and we had it all planned, but she didn't show up and won't answer any messages, but we know that coming to church and having the discussions would bless her so much! So that was sad. We have however done really good about tracting this week and running into the right people at the right time, and we have given a lot of book of mormons out and gotten a lot of contact information from people. We met a very nice lady who was interested and we planned to meet with her last Saturday, but she called us because she had to cancel, but wants to reschedule... so we'll see. Luckily success isn't measured in numbers, its measured in COMMITMENT. So I'd say we're a pretty successful bunch :)

We had a mini missionary with us for all of last week, her name was Sister Nufer! She was very very talkative and wasn't afraid to let anyone know what she thought. It was a joy to have her around, and she was very good at talking to just anyone, which I am extremely envious of. She was with us until Saturday, so now we are back to our little twosome companionship.

Well I should probably tell you something spiritual since I am a missionary haha ;) I've learned since I've been here just how real prayer is. Maybe its because I've never prayed 20+ times a day but they mean so much more when you put so much faith in God. I have actually seen a change in the way I receive answers and I've never felt so heard and loved. My answers aren't just some ambiguous thing anymore they actually come as I pray through thoughts and words and its amazing to see! So my challenge to all of you would be to pray often and sincerely, its really such an amazing gift that God has given us!

I hope you are all doing well, it was so fun to see those pictures! Tell Dad and Cam to have a blast in Lake Powell! I love you all so much! See you in 17 months :) (can you believe I hit a month last week?? Me neither.)

PS Good news! remember that giant white hair that grew out of my forehead? And how it has stopped growing for the last like, at least 6-8months? ITS BACK.
