Whats up?! To start, here's some answers to your questions:
Mom: yes the bike came, and it is blue! The front brake is kinda... not right haha so it rubs against the tire when I bike and makes annoying noises, but its okay because the biking has gone great! No Yes, Ellie is in Ohio, and in my ward! Shes on vacation right now apparently, but I'll see her next week :) I LOVE JON JON. So I'm really jealous. Thanks for putting us on the prayer roll! I know it means a lot to all of us :) and I love those Elder Perry Quotes so thank you!
Dad: Yes we sure did get our ipads! WOOOOOOOO! It makes preachin soooo much easier. So our mission is a bike and drive and walk mission so basically almost everyone has a car, but with limited miles (we get 950 a month) so we still get to bike and walk quite a bit. Can you say CALVES? Our area is not really sketchy at all. Its soooooo rich its not even funny, so we don't have any limits to where we can go. I hope you have a super great time in lake powell! (I'll be in powell, so it'll be almost like we're neighbors.)
Well this week has been pretty great! Oh, to answer your question about diabetes, 5 in our ward, and 10 missinoaries in our whole mission. Everyone and their cat is diabetic. (Literally. Sister Debbie Ashok in our ward has diabetes, and so does her cat. The cat takes insulin. WEIRD.) Ohio is super pretty, and very green! Not to mention the wild life.... Welcome to Ohio, where the ants are the size of squirrels and the squirrels are the size of dogs. Also I think if you averaged pet dogs here their would be about 3.5 per family. My companion is extremely...healthy. So I've lost a ton of weight. I don't know how much, but all of my clothes are falling off of me and I look super homeless hahaha (I gained 6 lbs the first week of the MTC. I think its safe to tell you now since its gone.) But its so amazing here and I have met so many awesome people!
Want to hear my miracle of the week? So Sister Bradford and I were just kinda lost at who we should go visit so we prayed and she was like "what are you feeling sister Hill" and the name Steve came into my head so I was like "Do we know a Steve?" and Sister Bradford is all like ".......No." haha so we just kept on visiting people and had a great day. Two days later we were having a really hard time with people just being mean and stand offish and we persevered anyway until dinner. At dinner we got a message saying we had 2 new referrals! Can you guess their names? Lisa. And Steve. hahahaha so we went and visited them and they had no idea about the referrals so we talked to Steve and he was super nice and his wife used to be a member, so I have no idea how that'll go but it was still super cool! MIRACLES ARE EVERYWHERE.
Love you all so so so so so so much!
-Sister Hill
