Well this week has been pretty good. We were supposed to get
a call last night about transfers but now we're getting it thismorning and we still haven't gotten it so I guess I'll send you an
update when I know. But MAN I want to stay!
hard, talking with everyone, etc etc etc. probably the biggest thing
was that we were able to get in contact with Mollies mom! It went
really well too! No baptismal signature yet. Her biggest issue is that
she feels like she doesn't know anything that is going on in mollies
life. They don't get along, so they don't talk, so Ronda doesn't even
know if this is something that Mollie really wants. So Mollie is
sending a text/writing a letter/ talking to her about everything she
learns and we are meeting mollies mom again tomorrow, so keep
praying!!
have any desires to attend her farewell or something (in Orem) you'll
probably see Cameron Robins there hahaha. But yeah, let me know. You
should meet her sometime cause she super great.
BOUNDARIES. It's so sad. But it's ok because I know she has really
felt the spirit and been learning a lot and I know she will continue
to make the changes she needs to prepare for baptism! She's so awesome
and I am very excited for her.
or not but we were meeting with him for a while and he was just having
a hard time accepting God. He wanted to, but he had so many questions
that he let turn into doubts and obstacles. We actually had a few
weeks that we couldn't find a time to meet with him but we went back
this week and something seemed very different about him. I couldn't
figure out what it was but I just felt the spirit in a way I never had
around a him and he invites us in and just says "I've been reading.
And I'm starting to accept it. It makes sense, and I feel a lot better
about it" he's been getting answers to his prayers and questions! He
really wants to come to church, and we showed him the new Easter
video. This guy comes in in the middle and says " come on Phil you
said you'd give me a ride. PHIL! Come on man" and Phillip keeps
watching and says "hold on, I'm studying." The guy say "studying
what?" "Religion" he gets a little frustrated and says "oh, and what's
your religion?" And Phillip just says "Mormon". This guy says a few
profane things and gets all mad and it literally didn't even phase
Phillip at all. He felt the spirit and knows what God wants him to do!
Bardsley gave a talk where he told a very sad story from his mission
about a great guy who was murdered but how many other people were
brought back to Christ because of it. In his talk he said "Most of us
are not called to die for Christ, but we are called to live for him"
it was an amazing example of how much Easter is a celebration of life.
We are all here for a reason and God loves each of us! How can we
better honor the calling we have to live for Christ?
