Hello fam!

That's awesome that you got to learn so much about the pioneers! The
pioneers are awesome... I like to think that they're helping me too! I
also like to think about how my kids are with me cheering me on! The
mish is a good place :)

Well this week has been just super good! We are picking up speed again
and meeting a lot of new people! Probably the highlight though was new
missionary training. It's always so great to be able to get together
for a really good 8 hour meeting! Since when do I love long meetings?
I don't know, but I totally do. I learned a lot of ways that I can
improve as a trainer and as a missionary as a whole, and even though
the temple was closed (huge bummer) we had a great time!

Another cool thing we did today was a big summer picnic with half of
our mission (the other half goes tomorrow) but it was so fun to get
together with everyone and play some fun games and eat free delicious
food (the Daines are the best cooks in the world by the way) so that
was super fun! Our zone got 2nd place in tug of war after a very
frustrating loss but it's ok cause

I think the best thing about this week was being able to work better
with members and the new people we found! We finally got in with the
youth and they totally love us now so that's good. We had a good
experience meeting a guy that I had seen in his screen room a while
back when sister Bradford was here and felt prompted to go back. One
day we were walking around the area and he was out walking his dog so
we started talking to him and it went super good! He's interested in
prophets and excited to meet with us on Friday! We also have a lesson
this week with a lady that we met a few weeks ago who was interested.
Another cool thing that happened:we were on our way to dinner but
decided to knock just one more door and we felt prompted toward this
specific one so we start going and this lady pulls up in her car so we
go talk to her and she's like "hey my son would totally like to meet
with you. He's in high school and wants to know more about your
church, and get accurate intformation" so we were like.... What? Haha
it was so great! Hard work and perseverance my friends.
