Uncut version

Fam Status,

First off I would like to apologize for no email on Monday! We got to
go to the temple this week, and our zones times was today.... So today
is p day! So sorry mom. Well it sounds like you guys have been having
some fun! To answer some questions: sister McMillan went to bountiful
high and she is 19 so we have a lot of mutual friends! I can't believe max
died.... I am so sad! You saved my little pair of pants hanging on the
rear view window through right?!? I already told you your not allowed
to throw it away. Yes I did hear about the BYU game! Everyone in Ohio
is thanking us for both the BYU and u of u game.... Your welcome?
#utahperks my blood sugars are sorta.... Should be better. But I'm
working on it! Eating habits depend on the day and mental health
depends on blood sugars ;) i had to go in for blood work yesterday but
I should be getting my a1c results today! And my appointment is set
for October 6th. I'll be mailing you some paper work that I need you
to fill out and send back pronto so I can have them for my
appointment. Sister Ogletree was one of my sister training leaders
last transfer! The iPod will be great! I have
more song requests coming your way soon :) but also you can just put
songs on a usb instead of an iPod if you would like! Our car can play
from a usb.

This last week has been... Super... Interesting hahaha. But it's been
good! Lacey is progressing gospel wise super well but she is having
MAJOR health and family issues right that make it hard. We scheduled
for her to have a blessing but she had to cancel because she ended up
in the emergency room. She's having a really hard time, so don't
hesitate to pray for her! Robin is hopefully getting baptized on the
26th... But we'll probably have to reschedule
But we'll keep working with her! This week we were decideding where we
should go tracting and there is this area of no soliciting and SUPER
rich houses, and there's nothing worse than getting a prompting to go
to an area like that but we did and met a guy named AJ who is super
prepared for the gospel and he now has been reading the Book of Mormon
and said he really likes it! So that's a plus. We also met a lady
named Nancy who is searching for a new church and would love to come
with us. She is also taking us up on some service! :) so that's the
best.

Quick funny tender mercy moment that shows Gods sense of humor: on
Labor Day I was just really hoping that we would come across a big
barbecue of super drunk people that are so wasted that they are way
friendly and let us eat their grilled meats with them and I told
sister McMillan that so we were joking about praying for drunk
people. That night the last door we knocked on was this lady who was
like "you don't want to talk to me I'm really drunk. What are you guys
up to me? No really I don't think you want to talk to me. Are you
Mormons? Why are Mormons so beautiful? I'm really drunk. Maybe you can
come back later this week when I'm less drunk" anyway she said lots of
other hilarious things that shouldn't be mentioned in a missionary
email but you best believe we'll be back this week.

Let me tell you something cool I've learned this week: God isn't going
to bless you with something you don't want. It would be cool, but he
just doesn't work that way. Sometimes we tend to think "I prayed for
it, obviously I want it" but that doesn't tell God that we want
something, it's in finding it ourselves that we show how much we want
something. If there is a blessing you are in need of, show God you
want it and he will give it to you! WORK FOR IT!

I love you all so much!
~sister hill
