baptism was rescheduled. Here's the story. She passes her interview,
she is super pumped for baptism, and then sister Pollmann and sister
parsons teach her 2 days before her baptism and sister parsons was
praying and said "what is your Last name?" And she says "Boyd" and so
she prays for the Boyd family and after she says " oh by the way I am
a Boyd, and the kids are Boyd's, but terry is not. We aren't married"
..... Oh sheeeeewt. It was really really unbelievably heartbreaking.
They refer to each other as they are married because they basically are
but.., they aren't. And that's why you don't assume anything. Angie
was very heartbroken as well. But she has been praying and we went and
saw her and she said it just means they will be getting married sooner
than expected, and that its just another thing she needs to hold tight
to and work through. She's so incredible, but due to law and divorce
papers it may be a while. :''''( so we are having a little but of a
rough time trying to figure out how and why all these weird things
keep happening. Hey, just another way to test our faith and trust and
make it stronger!
them have a lot of potential! Not to mention a couple of them are
related to Ryan :) we also had a miracle bible referral that we went
and taught her and her fiancé about the Book of Mormon and they are
really excited to learn more! But seriously, this whole marriage thing
is going to be the death of me here.
it as part of our MLc to help recieve more power from the Lord to know
what this mission needs. We fasted before to know what questions to
ask, and then we counciled together before and after the temple and it
was a very incredible experience, most enlightening and filling trip
to the temple I have had! We all had very similar answers that we
discussed after. During the session, I kept thinking about how we
really need to turn to God and be accountable to him. In the celestial
room I picked up a bible and had the weirdest urge to read in Hosea.
Like, the Old Testament terrifies me hahaha but I came across Hosea 6
1-2 which says
1 Come, and let us return unto the Lord: for he hath torn, and he will
heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up.
up, and we shall live in his sight.
allow ourselves to turn to him and really trust in him. Something I am
still learning :)
I love you all so much! I have been learning a whole ton about faith
hope and charity and I'm excited that we are all reading together :)
