Heyyy ok,
Hi.

So I am so happy to hear that you are all doing fantastic! That road
trip looked like a lot of fun and the pictures were too good! Man I
love you guys a lot.

Well Angie is gettin baptized this week!! Woooooo!! She is trying her
best to share the gospel with her husband too and we think his heart
is softening! Not to mention her kids. It is all really a great
experience but it is especially exciting to see how excited she is to
make a covenant with her Heavenly Father! Gosh I love her. She had a
procedure done and she was not feeling well at all on Saturday but we
prayed, she prayed, and she felt so much better on Sunday and was able
to come! The lord is always able to work miracles :)

The schofields are doing pretty good too. Maureen was excited to come
to church this week and bring all of her kids that they had that
weekend, but of course her baby had to come down with a 104
temperature and they weren't able to make it :( but the lesson we had
with them was SO COOL. her son Brandt and Justin's two daughters Miley
and lulu were there. since Justin and Justin Jr weren't there we
decided to teach the kids the restoration. We talked about how we can
receive answers to prayers. Maureen has told us that Miley is her
religious kid. She is about 9 but loves when we come and teach. We
decided to say a prayer with them  to ask if Joseph smith was a
prophet. Lulu said the prayer and she said "Dear Heavenly Father, is
Joseph smith a prophet? In the name of Jesus Christ amen" and Miley
opens her eyes and said " he said yes!" Besides the fact that it was
adorable, it was more powerful than anything because the spirit was
very strong and you just KNEW that God told Miley yes. We invited them
to be baptized and Miley was baptized as a baby so Maureen explained
the difference to her and said "no Miley, you were baptized Catholic
and Catholics don't believe in Joseph smith" and Miley says "oh. Well
I know that Joseph smith is a prophet, so I will be baptized." Ahhh!!
Why can't we all be so so humble and submissive?

Also we had a lesson with them a few days earlier and asked Justin Jr
why he wanted to be baptized and he said "because I want to go on a
mission. I feel like I am on some life long journey to go on a
mission" that surprised us all! I dunno guys, why aren't there more
schofields in the world?

Well yesterday sister Pollmann had this crazy allergic reaction. She
had to go to the er last time it happened so we were getting all
worried but we decided to get her a blessing because ER visits are
expensive. We got her some Benadryl and prayed that it would slow at
least til we could get to brother Stevens for a blessing and then she
got the blessing, and she started to get better! Her throat never
closed off. Her whole head and scalp was all red and itchy though and
it was crazy. Then she slept for 11 hrs straight hahaha. Then took an
hour nap. Haha but she is better now! The priesthood is so real.

Speaking of which we got a text from Ryan that said "sorry ladies I
will no longer be coming to church, it's just not how I believe." And
we were like WHAT?! So we give him a call and he goes of on this crazy
spiel about how there is no way that this is the only church that
holds the priesthood. He told us about his past experiences with
baptism and how he knows he had a spiritual experience. Obviously we
had a misunderstanding of the priesthood so we explained to him the
difference between the light of Christ, the Holy Ghost, the gift of
the Holy Ghost, and e priesthood, and it all made sense! We told him
to pray and read the Book of Mormon and that we would be over that
night. Well when we got there he said he prayed and random
Y opened to Moroni 7.... ALL ABOUT THE LIGHT OF CHRIST! He was so
excited, and it was a great experience :)

So I have really been enjoying is whole faith hope and charity thing
and let me tell you why. Our mission has been struggling as a whole
lately. We have consecutively been getting around 13 baptisms a month
between 200 missionaries so I have been doing lot of studying about
faith and hope especially and praying about how we can boost the faith
of he mission and put our trust more in Christ. Sister Pollmann and I
realized that yeah maybe we are working our butts off, but we have not
been putting enough faith and trust in the Lord. That's why when we
fasted for a baptism Angie came along. That's why when we fast each
week for church attendance, all of a sudden everyone wants to go to
church. It is not our mission! In a lesson mission related aspect it
is not your life. God has a lot in store for us if we only put our
trust in him. You can give it your all on your own but it will never
be enough! God loves us and wants to bless us and help us be happy but
he can't bring us joy against our will.

I love you guys!
