January 11, 2016

Fam status,

Ooooooooooh the wedding looks like it was SO PERFECT! Hahaha I'm glad
I could 3rd wheel everything via picture, even from across the country
:) WHY ARE THEY SO CUTE? And yes I got the pictures, thank you so
much!

First off, to clarify, there definitely was rapid gunfire in the
night.... It was just celebratory gunfire (as far as I'm aware. I
don't watch the news)  to answer other questions: yes the weather
finally decided to be winter and it snowed and it's the worst haha. 12
degrees isn't that bad, except that it's humid and windy.... Therein
lies the problem :) but sometimes it makes people nicer to us when we
tract! And I'm glad you liked the card! I totally didn't make it
haha there was an investigator in Powell that made a few for me.
Aren't they cute??

Well this week has been pretty dang good! We finally got in contact
with Daniel which is a Christmas miracle and he's just been really
busy because of all kinds of things at work but he said now that
things are slowing down he'll be reading and coming to church again
because he's "gotta prepare for the big baptism!" So yeah. That's
good. We've been working more with Kim and Kyle too which has been
awesome. We decided to teach the full word of wisdom asap and it
actually went really well! They are super interested in the addiction
recovery program and they said their hardest problem will be sweet tea
haha so we're trying replacing it with mios :) they are so awesome and
they are still praying together! They're super cool. Molly is on her
way to baptism as well and we have a few more people working towards
dates in February.

I seems like I hit a wall of exhaustion lately (like more than usual)
which is weird but it's crazy because even through tiredness you feel
so much happier when you are working harder. I really do think God
puts challenges in our way so we can find joy in overcoming them. It's
extremely merciful, really. We just need to do all we can to put our
trust in him and leave it all in his hands! I learned this week from
Ether 8:7 that sorrow is putting our efforts into things that can't
last, but as we push forward in Christ we can receive an eternal joy!

I love you all so much!
