Hiiii fammmmmili

First off.....
PAM IS GETTING BAPTIZED THIS WEEK ON SATURDAYYYYY! She had her
interview yesterday and it went soooooo great and gosh I love Pam we
need more Pams in the world. KEEP PRAYING!! Prayers work so good, in
Alma 10 22-23 it talks about the miracles that can come "by the
prayers of the righteous" it was fun to hear about the little girl
praying for missionaries, we always appreciate it and always need it!
Sister Pollmann and I kept saying we were going to tally how many
prayers we say in a transfer but we kept forgetting. But seriously
it's like more than 20 a day not counting prayers in our hearts and
I'm never going back. Prayers=miracles.

Update on Randy and Berta: they are literally flawless and I am so
excited for their baptism. The hope is that I will still be here for
it! They watched the restoration movie and said they wished it was
longer. We talked about their experiences in reading the Book of
Mormon. Berta started from the beginning and got through chapter 2.
She said she was very surprised that she understood it, and that it
really intrigued her. Randy prayed asking God to show him direction/if
this was right AND HE OPENED STRAIGHT TO MORONI 7. MORONI 7 PEOPLE I
REPEAT MORONI 7. It couldn't have been more flawless. He read us verse
13

"13 But behold, that which is of God inviteth and enticeth to do good
continually; wherefore, every thing which inviteth and enticeth to do
good, and to love God, and to serve him, is inspired of God."

And then as we asked about how he felt about the Book of Mormon he
said, and these are his words, " it's fills a void" we had a really
cool lesson where we just read 2 Nephi 31 together and they understood
it so well! The spirit was very strong! We are having a chapel tour
with them and a recent convert, Ken eppich, who I just know Randy is
going to get along with so well. I a, SO excited for them it's killing
me. Because when people are sincere, are willing to change, and want
an answer..,, THEY WILL GET ONE! And they will know the fullness of
Christ gospel. Take the time to let that soak in a minute and pondEr
what a great blessing it is to have in our lives!

In zone training meeting this week we got do to and awkward situations
roleplay like YES WE WERE MADE TO DO THIS TRAINING. We had everyone
brainstorm awkward situations we come across every day and role played
embracing the awkward. The point is that we are commanded to talk to
everyone, even if they are mowing their grass, or avoiding you, or
anything. It was great because the next day we had exchanged with the
new Albany sisters and sister Bench and I came across literally every
situation on that chalkboard I swear. And we met so many cool people
from it!! And got some return appointments :) it was a fun experience.

And at last we met a cool minister yesterday. He invited us right in
to meet his family and we were like "oh crap" but then we showed them
hallelujah and they loved it! We were able to share a Mini restoration
and talk about the Book of Mormon. He has one in his basement that he
read in college but he said they really just were t interested. Well
when he walked us back outside we kept talking and he said he really
aPpreciated our message today. And the. He's like "you know, my Book
of Mormon is kinda old.... I really could use a new one. You are
we.come back anytime." The spirit changes hearts!! So we are going
back this week to teach the plan of salvation :)

Well anyway, we had a cool mlc this week and some of the things that
were emphasized were the fact that the gospel blesses families. I've
been pondering the blessings of the gospel lately, namely what compels
a bunch of kids to come out and share it with others and it really
comes down to how much God loves us and wants to bless us. A
missionary here once said "Heavenly Father has a patriarchal blessing
that he wants to give to everyone." The other was learning to have the
desire to do better without the guilt of not doing enough, and I
believe that applies to every aspect of life! It's easy to be too far
on either end of the spectrum but I know God is always please with our
righteous desires and is always by our side to,help us improve :)

I love ya and hope yins have a good 4th!
(Yins is the Ohio word for y'all. Get ready for my accent I've acquired)
