Hannah's First Email!

Hello Family!!

Oh man I miss you guys! I'm so glad you found the DVD, and what could be a better place than my room! (Sorry I left it a little messy, I'll clean it when I get home ;)) Yes I have seen Eliza! I didn't see her for the first few days but I saw her about every day after that, so that's been great! I can't believe she got the flu! I hope shes feeling better... I actually had to go to the doctor yesterday to get a strep test hahaha but good news! No strep. But I've woken up with a super intense sore throat for the last three days so I hope they know what they're doing. So our district has 4 sisters and 4 elders and they are all super great! 6 of us are going to Columbus and and other 2 elders are going to New York. Also, Sister Beebe would like to know the full name of the person that told you about her from the hospital haha. I have also run into and met Wic's cousin that is going to Columbus and she's awesome too! And I've seen more friends than I've even expected! I already told you about Sister Hammond but she is just the best and I'm so glad we are companions! Our schedule is super planned out which is crazy the MTC has been so great! Luckily I haven't felt too overwhelmed or anything, and things are only getting easier! The only time I ever reconsider my decision is 6:30am every day, but that only last for about 30 seconds :) We have a new district coming in tonight and since I'm the sister training leader residence halls/online training leader I get to be part of their orientation which will be so great! We've been teaching our fake investigators and learning pretty quick how to be better missionaries! The MTC is awesome because you literally feel the spirit ALL THE TIME. It's kinda exhausting, but in a good way. Everyone is so nice. I don't know how they do it, but I'm working on it :)

A few things for Dad: Happy Birthday!!! I'm so sad I have to miss out on it tomorrow, but I'll be there in spirit. I hope it's great! Also thanks for the update on survivor! Elder van Slyke is also receiving Survivor updates from his family so we've been chatting a little about that today haha.

A few things to let you know about: I left my contacts at home.... so I will need those as well haha. They should be in the shelves of the downstairs bathroom closet. Also just wanted to check and be sure that we have a plan for glasses case, and that they are coming. I have actually already worn by black skirt so uh... yeah. A light jacket would actually be super nice, but I'm not sure the best way to go about that. And I will need the bag for sure before we leave because we don't get our luggage until the day after we arrive and I have no room in my diabetic carry-on to take my stuff haha.  Also This is really important-- I WILL BE CALLING YOU FINE PEOPLE NEXT WEDNESDAY AT ABOUT 6AM. I know its early, sorry. If it makes you feel any better, I have to be at the travel office at 3:30am that morning ;)

I love you all so so so so so so so much!
Talk to you on Wednesday!
